To show support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Friday, October 31st will be Go Pink Friday at WGES.  We are encouraging the WGES family to participate by wearing pink.  You will be notified of other activities to support this worthwhile cause.  Join the Fight!

WGES has a new and dynamic music teacher.  Dr. Foster comes to us from Collins Elementary School and he is in tune with our school!  The students truly enjoy going to his class and are learning new ways to enjoy and appreciate the Fine Art of Music. Please plan to attend.  See the flyer for scheduling.  Bring your cell phones or cameras to take pictures.

Learners Today and Leaders Tomorrow

From the Principal

On behalf of our faculty and staff, I want to welcome you to our school website and to the friendly and caring staff of education professionals here at Wilkinson Gardens Elementary. Our faculty and staff work hard to make Wilkinson Gardens a place where children love to come to school, where quality learning is our top priority, and where close relationships are maintained with our parents, other caregivers, and community.
This should prove to be an exciting and educationally rewarding school year. We look forward to combining our resources and talents into providing a quality instructional program.  We hope to afford every student a comprehensive and rigorous school curriculum in a safe and orderly environment. A key component in the success of our students is the support of care givers. I welcome any assistance that you may offer. Please feel free to communicate any concerns or suggestions that you may have.
I am extremely excited about the prospects for a rewarding and successful school year.  I hope this website will convey the excitement and pride that we feel in our school! We are encouraging every Wilkinson Gardens Wildcat to roar with enthusiasm and pride each day!!!
